Dodge & Chrysler EV Incentives: Built in Canada. Built for 2026.
February 18 2026,
The new federal Electric Vehicle Affordability Program (EVAP) is here — and for Dodge and Chrysler shoppers, it brings major advantages.
Eligible vehicles purchased or leased on or after February 16, 2026 qualify, even though the program officially launches April 1.
Savings are applied directly at the dealership — no waiting period.
How Much Can You Save?
In 2026:
- $5,000 for fully electric vehicles
- $2,500 for plug-in hybrids
Those amounts decrease each year — making 2026 the strongest incentive window.
- 2027: $4,000 EV / $2,000 PHEV
- 2028–2029: $3,000 EV / $1,500 PHEV
- 2030: $2,000 EV / $1,000 PHEV
Canadian-Built Advantage
Vehicles built in Canada qualify regardless of price point — a significant benefit.
$5,000 Federal Incentive
- Dodge Charger Daytona (R/T, Scat Pack)
$2,500 Federal Incentive
- Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid (Select, 100th, Pinnacle, Limited)
Additional PEI Incentives
In Prince Edward Island, you can combine the federal EVAP incentive with the PEI Universal EV Incentive:
- $4,000 additional for EVs
- $2,000 additional for PHEVs
That means:
- A Dodge Charger Daytona could qualify for up to $9,000 total
- A Chrysler Pacifica PHEV could qualify for up to $4,500 total
Why Act Now?
EVAP incentives decline every year. If electrification is on your radar, 2026 represents the strongest financial advantage we’ll see under this program.
There has never been a better time to drive Canadian-built electric performance or family-focused efficiency.
